In today’s world, kids are naturals in front of the camera! With smartphones in almost every parent's hands, snapping photos has become second nature. As a Glasgow family photographer, my lifestyle family photography sessions are all about capturing real, relaxed, and joy-filled moments. I create a stress-free, child-led environment where your family can simply be yourselves. Of course, I’ll capture those all-important posed portraits, but the magic truly happens when you’re engaged in natural activities—whether it’s exploring a local park, going for a walk, baking together, playing games, or simply reading a book. When everyone is having fun, that’s when the best, most authentic photos happen!

Your beautifully edited photos will be delivered in a private online gallery, where you can order high-quality prints, design stunning albums, create custom wall art, and download your images with ease.

How it Works

Step 01

Getting in touch

To start the process, simply fill out the contact form on my website and let me know your preferred date for your shoot. I'll check my availability and get back to you as soon as possible. We can then arrange a chat to discus the details of your shoot and I can answer any questions you may have. This can be done via email, WhatsApp, Zoom or come visit me in my garden office what ever is easiest for you. Once we've selected your ideal session, I'll get you booked in.

Step 02

Preparations

There are a few things you can do to ensure the best from your session.

Have your house everyday clean not your mother-in-law is coming to visit clean.

Please fill out your questionairre this helps me deliver a tailored session.

Pick out some comfortable clothing, and feel free to let the kids choose their own outfits as well - even if it's something you don't particularly like, the pictures will turn out great.

Step 03

On the day

Relax and enjoy your shoot, there are no forced smiles and awkward posing. I capture you hanging out as a family and enjoying each others company. wether that is going exploring in the woods, building sandcastles down on the beach or just at home cooking up some treats, playing games and reading books. Within an hout my camera becomes pretty invisible and life unfolds in a natural way.

Step 04

Memories to treasure

Once your photos and video have been carefully edited and processed, I will deliver them to you in your own online album. The album displays your images beautifully and is very easy to navigate. You will be able to view, share, print, and download your photos and videos as you please. You'll also be able to order prints, create your print albums and other products directly from the online album.

No awkward high presure sales, your images are yours to enjoy and keep forever.

You might think video isn’t for you, but trust me - lifestyle family films are for everyone! If you have little ones, a family film is an incredible way to capture the authentic, everyday moments that photos alone can’t preserve. The sound of their tiny voices, those wobbly first steps, the laughter, the cuddles—these fleeting moments deserve to be remembered. Adding video to your family photography session is something you’ll never regret!

I offer hybrid photo and film sessions, seamlessly capturing both stunning images and beautiful video clips using the same camera. Just like I do when filming wedding films, I record short, natural clips between moments, weaving them into a heartfelt 2-minute lifestyle family film. These films are easy to share with family and friends and will become treasured keepsakes you can look back on for years to come.
