Charlene & Darren's Lochside House Hotel Wedding

Charlene & Darren could not of asked for a better day when it came to their wedding at the beautiful Lochside House Hotel in New Cumnock, Ayrshire. It was a day filled with a lot of laughter, love and sunshine. Here are some photographs of their wonderful day.

Both Charlene & Darren got ready in the stunning lodges at the Lochside Hotel, it's always a pleasure to photograph preparations here as there is so much room and the light is always great.

The Ceremony was conducted by Celebrant Hugh McGuiness. He had everyone in stitches as he told the story of how Charlene & Darren met then fell in love and started their family. The ceremony was full of personal touches included hand fasting and the sharing of the quaich.

With the ceremony out of the way, everyone moved out onto the lawn to enjoy the sunshine and to capture the obligatory group shot. We captured a few family photos with the sun drenched Loch of the Lowes and Afton hills in the background. Once Charlene & Darren had mingled with their guests we took a gentle stroll over the bridge and through the lovely manicured grounds of the hotel to capture some beautiful couple portraits.

Master of Ceremonies Stuart (Devotion Ceremonies) had all the guests on their feet, waving their napkins to welcome in the top table for their wedding breakfast. Before the feasting could commence we had the formalities of the toast to the Piper (Bryce McCulloch), speeches and the cutting of the cake. The speeches did not disappoint, and the best man Gregor did not hold back and had everyone in tears of laughter.

The evening reception kicked off with an emotional father/daughter dance before Charlene & Darren took to the floor where they danced to I don't Dance by Lee Brice as a confetti cannon erupted over the dance floor. After a few dances we snuck out just as the sun was going down to grab one last photo as the sunset on their wonderful day.
